Singles Champions have been crowned
Sunday was a big day at the club with three events on the go. We had fantastic games being played all day, highlighting the talent of bowlers we have at the club, be it male or female, novice or veteran. Well done to all our players👏
Thanks needs to go Graeme and our greens assistants, led by Darryl who all contributed to the quality greens today. To our wonderful bar staff (Tracey, Jen and Nicki). To Nicki, for her efforts organising food for our players. To Magoo, for giving up his Sunday to umpire the day and mark the Men’s Final. Not forgetting the number of gents who gave up their Sunday to mark the singles games. To Matto, Russell, Shane, Greg, Cashy, Steve, Nick & Jacko it is much appreciated. A big effort from a lot of people made the day possible, your club thanks you.

Men’s Club Singles
Champion: John Holman🏆 this is John’s first Club Championship!
Runner-up: Troy Kinnane🥈 a fine effort from the big man in his 1st season at the den.
Ladies Club Singles
Champion: Brooke Chaney🏆 is now a dual Singles Champion at Basso.
Runner-up: Caroline Soro🥈 continues to feature in the pointy end of ladies championships.
Men’s Novice Singles
Champion: Jim Kassinas🏆 is our deserving winner after an ultra impressive 1st season of bowls.
Runner-up: Wayne Gossage🥈 worked tirelessly all day for a fantastic 2nd place.
All our Men’s Club Championships are now complete, whilst we still have the ladies novice singles and hopefully club pairs to come.
Basso Bowls Shoot-out - 12th April
Check out this exciting new lawn bowls format.
Open to both seasoned and non-bowlers. This quick format will be played on the 2nd Friday of the month. $10 entry fee gets you into both the solo event and the team event.
